My run isn't working properly

If the running feature in the App is not working as expected, please try the following:

  • Ensure that the PUML App is given access to “Motion & Fitness” and that these are set to “always”. You can check these settings by going to Settings on IOS (Apple) and scrolling down until you find PUML. Follow the image below:

Note: For the running feature to log your steps, you will need to keep the app in the foreground or the GPS will stop working.

Anti-Cheating: We have implemented anti-cheating algorithms which will prevent the App from registering any runs which have been artificially created. i.e. You can’t have app on all day and travel on a train and then unpause etc; You can’t hop in a car while paused or train etc.
